Is our construction in an aluminium variant strong enough?
We often get this question, in many variants.
A bit of a rethinking helps: if you were to make it just as heavy in aluminium as in steel, for example, the aluminium variant is often stronger!
It is a bit of a shortcut: there is a lot more to it than we show in this short animation. But it does show that constructions in light aluminium can also be very strong. Of course, the aim is always to achieve a lighter construction, but strong enough.
