In our Strongbridge cooperation, Highrise B.V. has worked with partner Marteq to supply 3 new aluminium bridges that will provide safe access to passengers of ferries in Amsterdam area. High quality structures, designed by Highrise towards stringent Eurocode rules and fabricated by Marteq under their 1090-3 certified production-process.
Another example of sustainable use of building materials:
these aluminium bridges will help passengers safely board ferries for many, many years without need for preservation. On top of that: aluminium already had a nice track-record so far, as it originates for a large portion from recycling! If for any reason in the far future, our client decides to dismantle their beautiful bridges, it will once more be re-used or recycled and become a brand new product again. And again, again, again…
